Sydney R. Resnik

Dr. Sydney Resnik is a dermatologist at Resnik Skin Institute providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and treating the full spectrum of skin, hair, and nail conditions, with particular interests in hidradenitis suppurativa and other inflammatory skin diseases, skin cancer detection and treatment, and dermatologic surgery. She also offers cosmetic treatments, including Sculptra®, lip and facial filler, and neuromodulators, with an emphasis on natural-looking results tailored to each patient.

Dr. Resnik completed her dermatology residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, where she served as Chief Resident. She earned her medical degree from Florida International University and both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Resnik believes that great dermatologic care starts with listening. She takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain their condition and treatment options clearly, and develop a plan that fits their individual needs and goals.

A South Florida native, Dr. Resnik is especially excited to join her father, Dr. Barry Resnik, at Resnik Skin Institute. Longtime patients may already know another member of her family—her dog, Dr. Chewy, the practice’s beloved office mascot. After years of being known around the office as Dr. Chewy’s mom, she is thrilled to finally be joining him in the practice.
