Cosmetic Facial: $70
People with blackheads and other non-inflammatory blemishes find that regular facials help to reduce the amount of breakouts they experience. Your aesthetician begins by thoroughly cleansing the skin. Various masks, steam treatments, and facial massage may be incorporated into the treatment. Pore blockages, or comedones will be gently removed. Your aesthetician may use products to reduce surface oil, remove dead skin cells, and soothe and hydrate your skin. Exclusive products and regimens will be recommended for at-home use, to accentuate the wonderful changes being performed in the office. Special cleansers, moisturizers that won't aggravate your acne, and serums creams and lotions designed to help you look and stay your best!
Microdermabrasion Facial
Facial & Microdermabrasion: $100
Microdermabrasion helps produce thicker, healthier skin layers; multiple treatments are vital because they encourage the production of higher levels of collagen and elastin in your skin. Both of these components are essential for vibrant, healthy skin, and they will further improve your complexion and the overall appearance of your skin. Approximately five to twelve treatments spaced two to three weeks apart are usually necessary to achieve your greatest results.
Glycolic Acid and Beta Lift Peels: $95
Glycolic and beta-salicylic acid work as exfoliating agents, helping to gently and safely rejuvenate your skin. When placed on the skin as part of an exfoliating cream or gel, glycolic acid goes under the damaged upper layers of skin and destroys the 'glue' which holds dead skin to the surface. As this dead skin is chemically removed, the other ingredients carry the individual flakes away and a water rinse neutralizes the remaining acid. The result is a much-smoother skin surface and a more youthful appearance. A secondary benefit is glycolic acid's ability to draw moisturizers into the newly-exfoliated skin surface.
If you decide to make facials a part of your skin care routine, remember that you will get the best results if they are done regularly. Be sure to tell your Aesthetician about all topical and oral medications you are currently using to avoid unwanted reactions. Vigorous exfoliation should not be done on anyone taking ACCUTANE (isotretinoin) or using topical retinoids like Differin or Retin A. If the doctor is treating your acne, it's always a good idea to talk to him or her before having any facial treatment done.
